Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses light to accelerate healing at the cellular level and reduce inflammation and pain.  It improves circulation and speeds up the recovery of pets after orthopedic, neurologic, and soft tissue surgeries. Laser therapy decreases the formation of scar tissue by stimulating the proper growth of collagen for a stronger repair. Laser helps pets with arthritis by reducing inflammation and pain in the joints, and helps with related muscle dysfunction. The laser also helps patients with neurologic injuries by promoting spinal cord and nerve regeneration.  Because the laser is pain-free, drug-free, and non-invasive, it is a preferred method of treatment for a lot of pet owners.

Some of the conditions treated with laser therapy:

  • recovery from surgery
  • wounds
  • bone fractures
  • neurologic conditions
  • some skin problems
  • pain and mobility problems associated with aging/arthritis

Laser therapy has no known side effects. It is a completely safe treatment. All patients receive their treatments while lying on a bio pulse bed in a very positive and relaxing environment.
